This homemade pineapple salsa is quick and easy to make, nutrient rich, and is low in calories, sodium, and fat, while being a great source of fiber!
Can your other salsa recipes say that?
This is the best homemade pineapple salsa you will ever taste. I know it definitely was for me. I used this as regular dip, on salads, on pizza, and in burritos! You can use this in so many recipes!
I made this and on the first try, I was in love. I knew this was going to be my go-to recipe for bringing to parties or family occasions.
And the amount of Manganese in it is a super high at 91% DV!
This helps the body reduce inflammation, aid in metabolism, help bone health, and helps reverse damaged cells in the body.
Allergy Season
Anyone else’s allergies going crazy this year?
Mine have been awful. The shortness of breath and hives on my face were scaring me senseless.
I’ve never really had allergies before and this year, I got hit hard, so I had no idea what was going on with my body.
Turns out, I have allergies now. Most likely to pollen.
To those who struggled with this their entire life… I hear you, and you are a true warrior. My hat goes off to you.
Anyways, back to the point.
Like I do with everything, I started researching, researching, and researching for anything that would help my allergies feel more manageable without taking medication.
And in case you can’t guess what I found by the recipe I am writing this under: Pineapples are a FANTASTIC natural remedy for allergies!
I already knew Pineapple was an anti-inflammatory because of the bromelain. I talked about it in my Pineapple Chicken Quesadilla and in my anti-inflammatory e-book that some of you have read. If not, definitely sign up for it below (or above- it’s advertised in both spots).
But I did NOT know it’s effect on allergies.
I’m so glad I do now. I been eating some pineapple every day ever since and although I still feel them, I can breathe and my hives aren’t as bad.
So it’s a win for me. Pineapples are my new favorites.
